Rosacea
Rosacea is a combination of dilated/damaged capillaries, redness and small inflammatory lesions (like pimples) on the cheeks, nose and forehead.
There are three distinct stages of Rosacea:
Stage1: - persistent redness with dilated capillaries
Stage II - persistent redness, dilated capillaries with tiny pimple like lesions
Stage III - stages I and II accompanied with swelling
Stage II and III is a dermatological condition and checked by your doctor prior to treatment
symptoms fluctuate especially with heat and other factors, spicy foods, sudden changes in temperature, stress factors
Rosacea is not related to acne - and can often be mistaken for acne
Causes:
Chronic inflammation causes blood vessels to dilate
Pimples may develop
the exact cause is unknown though bacteria may be involved as well as 'mite' called the demodex mite suspected to invade the inner art of the vessel.

IPL
pH Revision
